Our ethos is simple, to treat each person with the dignity and respect they deserve. We endeavour to ascertain preferences and choices in all aspects of your assessed care and needs.
How do we do that?
From the time of the first assessment we prepare individual Care Plans for all residents, an essential protocol which is used by staff to ensure that the correct levels of care and support are provided 24 hours a day. These plans are reviewed on a regular basis and we encourage the resident and relatives to play an active part in their review. Importantly an ‘about me’ section is completed which includes a brief history and resident’s hobbies, interests, likes and dislikes. Our home is supported by General Practitioners, District Nurses, Chiropodists, Dentists and Opticians. Residents are encouraged to stay with their own personal doctor where possible. We are able to offer this care for a short stay respite, long term stay and if required end of life palliative care.
“It’s very nice here, they are wonderful with her. The manager and staff are approachable. They discuss her care and what is going on she is well looked after.”
